Sofia Larsson Ocklind aka Soffy O moved from Stockholm to Berlin in 1998. In the legendary club Galerie BerlinTokyo, the creative center of 90s Berlin, she met TokTok and started working with the electronic duo - a partnership that proved a very successful and productive match. Their single Missy Queen´s Gonna Die quickly turned from a Berlin clubhit into an international dancefloor smasher. While performing with TokTok at numerous international festivals, a desire grew in Soffy O. to make her own music, write her own songs and, someday, to perform them with her own band. So she finally teamed up with Mocky to produce their first solo album: The Beauty of it has become a sophisticated pop album that, with its many different sounds and rhythms, takes you on a journey from the sixties to present and back. Soffy O is now touring Europe with her band called The Group of Oz.
