In the very few years since the release of their debut album Dreams (2006) Erlend Øye, Marcin Oz, Sebastian Maschat and Daniel Nentwig infected hundred-thousands of young people over the world with their charming house and electronic influenced indiepop and took club and festival stages everywhere by assault. They easily sold out the european release tour for 2nd longplayer Rules in advance, turned big venues into sweaty disco clubs and released small riots at festivals ... Whereas their debut album could very well be enjoyed on a sofa as well, the new record sounds mostly as if the band would just have captured the enthusiasm on tape the band usually experience by the crowd during their concerts. Aside from the disco-factor the often present sad or melancholic vibe of the lyrics also gets equilibrated by a good portion of humour and irony. And one of the reasons of their success is the fact, that people had the chance to discover the music themselves whithout getting it shoved down their throats by media- and marketing-campaigns. But most of all, the band's indie-pop/disco-sound leads to great enthusiasm amongst a steadily growing fanbase worldwide. The stage is set for at least 100 more great live-gigs. Prepare to enjoy.
